Professions:
Catholic Priest
Aurora Rubra (Crimson Dawn) Vatican Sanctioned Hunter; Hunter Hatred: Djinns, even though he hunts all supernaturals.
Skills:
Monsters look under the bed for me.- Octavian is highly trained in the manner that a tier one operator would be for the specific purpose of eliminating supernaturals.
Vatican Connections - As part of the Holy See sanctioned hunter's group he has access to a support and supply line, though resupply takes time due to distance.
Sanctioned Priest - Octavian is also a fully trained priest. He can fluently speak Latin, Greek, Italian and English. He has completed seminary school after obtaining a bachelors degree in History and is ordained. (AKA Everything becoming an actual priest entails!)
Powers:
Divine Retribution - By verbally declaring his faith when confronted with an enemy, Octavain gains 2x human strength and speed for three post rounds. This can only be used once per scene.
Weaknesses:
Fear Denies Faith: Octavian is feverant in his belief, in that God will see him through ANY situation, and I do mean anything. He has absolutely no problem putting his life in danger, getting entangled with local law enforcement, or getting in any other pickle of a situation if he feels he is doing "God's Work."
John 2:13: Just as Jesus came to holy wrath driving moneylenders from the temple, so does Octavain. And frequently. He has a bad temper that he must constantly work to keep under wraps.
Nameless Horrors: Octavian has seen...a lot. Things mortal men should not see. Beheld things that eyes should not view. He has trouble sleeping and is often plagued with nightmares and daymares, flashbacks of what dwells in the dark corners of the world.
Angels on my shoulders, Demons on my back: Octavian always seems to draw the attention of the big nasties. The things that should not be. He's made it out alive so far, but how far can faith carry him before he crosses one line too many? It causes him to be a bit paranoid, he FEELS evil creeping up on him, like the more work he does, the more he has to do. Think John Constantine. It's Everywhere and he knows it, he feels it getting worse. Maybe there's an actual demon following him around? Not sure how that'd play out.
In Good Faith: Octavian tends to take whom he deems as the "faithful" on their word. He trusts that because they both share a belief that they will be for the most part, truthful to him. This can enable him to be betrayed or deceived by a member of his flock.
Malleus Malefactorum: Supernaturals whom may seek Octavian's help will have to try extra hard to earn his trust and prove they aren't a threat to humanity. It is because of this he also has less access to supernatural allies or individuals whom may become supernatural allies.
Wrong Side of Heaven: Octavian is the textbook example of an extremist. His entire organization is. It's because of this, that some people may see and take his good intentions, regardless of whatever they may be, as an extension of his agenda.
